Massive Thunder Storm

Just had a massive Thunder Storm where I live which gave rise to a massive torrent of rainfall down the hill. The video shows how much water was flowing. We had quite a bit of Thunder & Lightning, but nothing too close.

Amazing!

You know we have a lot of those here. Two weeks ago we had a massive low pressure system crossing NSW and QLD and it was incredible. There were towns that were isolated for days! :(

I think the biggest downpour I've ever witnessed in my life was in QLD at my brother-in-law's place. It was September last year and during the night we just had this massive tropical downpour. The noise was something like someone chucking buckets of water into the roof of the building! No thunder that night ...

I must confess that I love thunderstorms. When there's a big thunderstorm in Sydney I always try to take pictures. Silly me! :P

It is very hard. I don't have a good camera for it. If I did I reckon I would be able to get great shots from my balcony.

Thanks for the videos. You were lucky, I never get to film them. But you just gave me a good idea. ;)

Regards

It looked like a dam had been opened at the top of the hill, the water was just gushing down in a mad fury. At least it was different weather to our usual "cloudy might or might not rain".

Kangas, we don't have a lot of thunderstorms over here and even this one was pretty mild
